Lucy Spotts—22-year-old artist and content creator—calls New Smyrna Beach, FL, her playground and creative sanctuary. Whether she’s shredding waves, cruising on her Sector 9 Sidewinder skateboard to fine-tune her surf flow, or belting out a soulful melody, Lucy lives and breathes movement, music, and storytelling.

With a surfboard or skateboard under one arm, a guitar in hand, and a harmonica never far away, she’s been making waves—literally and musically. Since 17, Lucy has been recording her own music, blending coastal breeziness with raw, heartfelt storytelling. To date, she’s released 41 originals and 1 cover, all streaming everywhere.

A VOICE WITH DEEP ROOTS
Lucy’s musical journey started early—at just 8 years old, she sang with her siblings in the “Amerikids” Choir, lighting up massive Orlando conventions. Christmases were spent as a professional caroler alongside her soprano-singing mom, adding harmonies to the holiday season.

Then came the waves. And everything changed.

At 15, Lucy traded Wyoming’s snow-capped peaks for Florida’s saltwater therapy. Surfing became her escape, a remedy for the anxiety and depression that shadowed her early teens. She had already been writing music behind closed doors, but the ocean? That was the missing piece.

Her viral surf progression video—exploding on Instagram and TikTok—caught the attention of SurfGirl Magazine and Girls Who Surf, who featured her journey of resilience, healing, and the pure stoke of riding waves. Honing her style on a Sector 9 Sidewinder skateboard, Lucy mastered surf-style carving, translating street skills directly to the water. With guidance from local surf mentors (and a few close encounters with sharks!), she found her rhythm in both surfing and music.

Fast forward, and Lucy has turned her passion into a full-throttle, multi-faceted career. With over 14 million views worldwide, she’s creating high-energy, feel-good content on surfing, faith, music, deep conversations, surfer-girl hair hacks, and even creative commercials.

Her sound? A breath of fresh ocean air—crisp, clear, and effortlessly cool. Whether she’s singing a soulful original, a breezy love song, or covering classics likeTennessee Whiskey, Fleetwood Mac, or Taylor Swift, Lucy captivates with her laid-back, magnetic energy.

Her songwriting? Raw, real, and straight from the journal—with tracks about beach life, heartbreak, faith, cowboys, relationships, and even Publix (because priorities).
