Skateboards with the Downhill designation are built to handle the high speed of going down large hills or mountain passes. This doesn't mean that you're automatically licensed to charge down these hills, but rather that the board can handle it if you have the ability. Downhill boards typically feature more complex skateboard deck molds, unique constructions and premium trucks and wheels.. These complete longboards are constructed for downhill skateboarding from wheels that slide, to trucks that are calibrated for a smooth ride, but no skateboard or skateboard truck can prevent the danger of speed wobbles. Always be careful and skate within your own abilities and please wear a helmet and necessary pads.
