Geiselman is Back!

Eric Geiselman charged off of the DL with a vengeance a few weeks back after recovering from an eye injury. He seems to be back to normal sticking airs all over the beaches of El Salvador.

New Music Tuesday #31 - San Diego Music Awards

Music is not a contest and award shows are usually tabloid exposès on how people dress. But if it’s the San Diego Music Awards and your friends are nominated, then awards are totally awesome. This year’s nominees are not only talented and well deserving, but they're full on bros and we want to see them win. So vote for Retox, Blackout Party, Creepy Creeps, and Okapi Sun. Now, what to wear…

U.S. Open: Kids These Days

There are 3 things you need to go to the beach, your cell phone, free energy drinks, and your twitter handle written on your chest. Well not really but that sure is what it looked like this weekend at the Vans U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach. Though most may not have noticed there was world class surfing and skateboarding happening amongst all the kids looking for a midsummer make out. It was great seeing all the dusty 9ers, and congratulations to Brazil’s Alejo Muniz for defeating California’s Kolohe Andino in the final and winning $100,000. That’s a lot of energy drinks.

Almabtrieb with the Downhill Division

The Downhill Division is touring Europe for the next few weeks and stacking clips at every possible apex. Last week at the Almabtrieb Downhill race in Germany they convinced a luger friend to eat their dust and get the shot.

New Music Tuesday #30 - Diarrhea Planet

Our friends Diarrhea Planet are a great band with a horrible name. The Nashville punks pulled an awesome sneak attack on the Casbah Saturday night and came on just as Nobunny had finished tearing the place apart. The boys nailed two shows in one night and were looking at a very late and long drive out of town. Instead they took a detour straight to Mission Beach to dip their toes in the ocean and crash on Rock Team Captain Rob Molt’s floor. See them on tour and invite them to crash at your place.

Gabe Gwynne One-Times Japan

Gabe Gwynne is quite the globetrotter, finding his way all around the world in search of winding roads and buttery asphalt. This time he ended up in the Japanese hill country navigating narrow switchbacks with Matt K. on the follow cam.
