If there was a bounce-back of the year award Alexis deserves it 9 times over. After beating cancer he came back to finish his part for Gullwing and stomp massive tricks with his signature ninja style. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

The 3rd Annual Turkey Slide Jam and Safety Clinic was a perfect send-off before the Thanksgiving holiday. We were very pleased to see so many up and coming skaters who were concerned with safety and road awareness. This group of board riding advocates travel to lesser fortunate parts of the world and use surfing and skateboarding as a medium to motivate and educate young minds. A new take on the Gullwing Sidewinder Trucks has them whipping and carving under the newest additions to the Sector 9 Mini Series. The Barra Soap and Skatepark are helping to translate a surf style turn onto pavement. The bottom line is... these boards are fun!

The Redbull Steep Crest quietly went off last week in San Francisco as a test event for future contests. We were hyped to have the Downhill Division's Louis Pilloni, Chance Gaul, and Ross Druckrey invited to compete. Watch from the eyes of Louis Pilloni as he claims 2nd place in the downhill race.
