Record Store Day is a celebration of local record shops. Before there were internets, downloads, or iPods, there were record stores and that's where your music came from! Join us at San Diego's own, M-Theory, Saturday morning and grab some exclusive new vinyl!

The very first band we walked into at this year's SXSW was the heavy, Chelsea Light Moving. Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth fronts this very low-end driven, yet almost pop band on Matador records. Thank you Thurston! Listen to the single "Burroughs" here!

The Sector 9 Rock Team is going... are you? If so, which bands are you pumped on and which bands are you bummed on?

Legendary southern California punk rockers, Bad Religion, are back with their 16th studio album! 'True North' is a sharp reminder of Bad Religion's ability to be relevant and on the forefront! Long time friends of Sector 9, and original members of the Sector 9 Rock Team, we salute you!
