Our good friends and San Diego’s own heavy swamp rockers, Blackout Party are putting their next release to vinyl. They have started a campaign on Indie Go-Go to put the much anticipated 'Float on towards our Doom’ on wax. You can be a part of it, and maybe even win a Sector 9!
Dropping engine grease from coast to coast and rattling cages at every stop, Low Volts is on tour. The one-man lightning storm is on his way through the mid-west with a full schedule ahead. Catch a show and uplift your soul!
After a 10 hour drive up the coast to Monterey, CA we arrived at the county fairgrounds where the 9-ball crew would be camping, debuting our custom collaboration deck, valeting bikes & boards, and enjoying some sweet reggae music. Menacing sounding Memphis band, Ex-Cult has spent the last year smashing their songs into every club they could. Seemingly perfecting their mixture of psych rock low end, post punk guitars, and a hectic vocal story line. Their first single “Midnight Passenger” is a dark look into what will be a scary good release on Goner Records come April.
If Gabriel Fulvimar’s first Gap Dream LP was Ohio bedroom psych rock, then his second full length, Shine Your Light, is definitely more California dreamy loner pop. You see, Gabe moved out from the Midwest straight to Southern California’s Burger Records. Literally, he lives in a record store. The record reflects the changes in atmosphere, and the heavy synth sounds add layers to his new groovy stories. Welcome to California Gabe, we’re glad you’re here. Now find an apartment.
